The biochemical machinery in the body turns energy into tissues and organs that release it again in bursts. Bundles of proteins and acids combine and combust and synthesize materials as we interface with matter and energy. We absorb the world and create new patterns in a sequence of self-assembling order that is adaptive, imperfect and intelligent.

Track Meet’s first official release, The Energy EP, is a forceful and relentless project that bears all the hallmarks of DJ New Jersey Drone’s raw, hardware-based production techniques. Pulsating, desolate and aggressive rhythms underpin beautiful melodic soundscapes in a hyperactive fusion of entropy and elegance. Organic textures blend with synthesized tones and serene melodies combine with dissonant noise to create a vast and alien sound that rejects classification.
